Description

ALEXANDER SERGEEVICH PUSHKIN, 1799-1837, was a poet, novelist, and social critic. Pushkin is considered the greatest poet in Russia's history and the Father of modern Russian Literature. Abram Petrovich Ganibal, Pushkin's great-grandfather was a celebrated African scientist and soldier. These postage were issued 1974, 1947, 1947, and 1949 respectively.
